Andrea Arce, Senior Specialist, Global Economic Inclusion & Business Diversity  Merck

Andrea Arce is a Senior Specialist, Global Economic Inclusion & Supplier Diversity at Merck. Joining the company in 2019, as part of the Global Economic Inclusion & Supplier Diversity Team, Andrea has been responsible for supporting Research Development Sourcing & Procurement category when it pertains to sourcing diverse suppliers. Andrea also leads the Merck Drexel Advanced Leadership Program for Diverse Suppliers, along with external and internal communications as well as Tier II Program. Prior to joining Merck, Andrea was the Site Manager at Express Employment Professionals, where she was responsible for large clients and their staffing needs. Andrea has a Bachelor of Arts from William Paterson University.
Kavon Archie, Senior Inclusion Manager – Gilbane

Kavon Archie is a Senior Inclusion Manager with over 30 years of experience at Gilbane. She plays a crucial part in developing and implementing strategies that promote an inclusive workplace culture, ensuring that all employees feel valued and respected. She is a certified HR Professional, Lean Practitioner and received her bachelor’s degree from University of Houston (Business Management). Kavon's passion is in the area of Inclusion & Diversity.

Tara Bigelow, DE&I Officer - J. Fletcher Creamer & Son

With a robust career spanning over 17 years at J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc., Tara Bigelow has continuously demonstrated her dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace. Since December 2021, she has served as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Officer, where she has spearheaded initiatives to promote a culture of belonging and equity.   

In addition to her DEI responsibilities, Tara has built a solid foundation in the Contracts and Compliance Department over the past 17 years. Her expertise in this area has been critical in ensuring that J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. adheres to all regulatory requirements and contractual obligations, thereby maintaining the company's reputation for integrity and excellence in the construction industry. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, providing her with strong analytical and managerial skills that she applies to all aspects of her work.  

Tiara Cypress, Regional DE&I Manager - DPR Construction

For more than 10 years, Tiara Cypress has been a champion for improving the employee experience of those inside and outside of the construction industry. Tiara began her career in construction project operations and shifted her focus to the people behind the buildings, becoming a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) leader at both nationally and internationally known general contractors. Currently, she is a DEI Lead for DPR Construction where she serves as a catalyst for local and national programming such as Construction Inclusion Week, Employee Resource Groups, LGTBQ+ Pride parade participation, and career fair and conference recruiting. Additionally, Tiara supports the DEI Team by creating content and facilitating inclusion trainings. She holds a Diversity and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University and a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP)® certification. Outside of work, Tiara is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and serves her community through her membership with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. When she’s not advocating, Tiara can be found doing daily word puzzles on the New York Times app, playing flag football, and eating and cocktailing her way around the world.
